Online and Offline Shopping Which Is Better? by Dean McGowan
To find out what is different between shopping online
and getting into your car and going to the store as you would normally
do, just think back to your last outdoor shopping experience. Kids are
screaming as they run around the store throwing tantrums when mommy and
daddy refuse to buy them everything they want, lines are long and people
will trample you to reach a product on sale first. Just think, those
were the good points of shopping offline.
Another few differences are the ability to shop at your leisure. Open a
web page and feel like doing something else? Feel free, no one is
pushing you out the door because the store closes in 5 minutes. The
nicest cashiers and store personal can turn into that monster youve only
had nightmares about when it is almost time for them to go home. They
want to clock out, get away and go home, and the last thing they want to
do is deal with one more annoying customer who might want to ask a
question.
You’ve been standing in line for 30 minutes and youre almost to the
cashier when suddenly you forgot to get the one item you came to the
store for. You really need to get it or your significant other might
just decide to leave you outside for the night. The problem is, if you
leave the line you could be waiting another 30 minutes before checkout,
however if you checkout and come back you will could be in the same
predicament and that is only if the line isn’t longer than it was
before.
Other frustrating offline shopping issues with long lines can occur when
you walk into a store that was almost empty but as you go to checkout,
it suddenly seems like everyone else in the store decided that they just
had to checkout before you. You quick shopping trip then becomes a
waiting game.
It seems that some shoppers do not mind the near death experiences that
come with holiday shopping or special shopping days such as black
Friday. With the popularity of online shopping there is now such a day
known as cyber Monday, where internet shoppers can buy gifts from the
comfort of their homes instead of watching their lives flash before them
as they get trampled for that extremely cheap DVD player. The biggest
advantage to online shopping is that you do not need to reschedule your
life simply to run a few shopping errands.
In short, Online shopping can be the ultimate way to shop.
